Meet our Founder

Ms. Eula T. Bacon, who lives just six blocks from the BEE Learning Center, is excited to be part of a project dedicated to helping children excel. A graduate of Florida A&M University and Cooley Law School, Ms. Bacon has been an active community member for many years. Her professional career spans non-profit management, higher education student services, grant writing, and teaching middle school.

Mrs. Jacquelyn Paulk has dedicated
many years to enhancing the lives of children and families. She played a pivotal role in desegregating the elementary school system in Sarasota and went on to establish several after-school programs for children in the Newtown community. A lifelong learner, Mrs. Paulk holds a BS in Elementary Education from Albany State College and a Master of Education from Columbus University. Her extensive knowledge and deep understanding of how children learn have led to the creation of a unique curriculum that meets the needs of the community's children.

At the Jacquelyn Paulk Campus, each room is designed to enhance learning opportunities. Our teachers are well-trained and follow a curriculum specially designed by Mrs. Paulk.

Empowering Youth Success

"Even if your kids don't want to be in the afterschool program, advocate to have them participate. They may not see the benefit at the time, but they will later. What I learned helped me pass exams in high school and college."
